The Intentional Creator’s Manifesto

Introduction: In a world dominated by ingesting large amounts of information that we don't use, we stand for intentional creation. This manifesto speaks to an expressive internet that inspires purpose collectively. By taking accountability for the trajectory of our digital sphere, we can build a more balanced online ecosystem- one that is worth belonging to. Through mindful engagement; we aim to transform passive consumption into meaningful interaction.

We believe in:

In a world overwhelmed by social media noise, algorithmic feeds and endless scrolling; we choose creativity over passive consumption. Rather than surrendering our attention to the cycle of trends and distraction, we reclaim our agency through making, thinking and active involvement. We embrace the act of harnessing our skills for empowerment, experimentation and progress; which means that we volunteer ourselves into participation.

2. Web Revivalism as a Social Movement
We acknowledge the internet, as a powerful tool that enables us to organize across boundaries; fostering a cultural exchange of information. We advocate for the shift from corporate-dominated spaces to personal websites; amplifying the voices from marginalized communities. This happens when we create new narratives and challenge outdated paradigms. In a decentralized space, we have the liberty of shaping our own environments.

3. Freedom & Responsibility
With freedom comes enormous responsibility, which means taking proactive steps to leverage a more equitable society. As a result, this includes using our power to influence in ways that contribute to healthier communities. An example of this may be choosing to promote truth not misinformation, since we are responsible for how we use tools like the web.

4. The Economy of Collaboration
We support open-source initiatives that do not typically operate on principles of individualistic competition and scarcity but on abundance. The pooling of skills such; as web design or art can be used to problem solve, establish trust and foster sustainability. This demonstrates how value can be built through cooperation rather than by profit-driven motive.

5. Our Digital Legacy
We are responsible for preserving the internet for future generations and ensuring that they’ll have a municiple-minded internet; not one where internet freedoms have become eroded. This includes championing user rights so that everyone can flourish in cyberspace without interference from corporations, governments, ISPs or cybercriminals. The results should mean greater privacy, security and access for all.

Our Guiding Principles:
