A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I'm a creator, lifelong learner, and web enthusiast who enjoys chess, documentaries, sewing, gardening, yoga, cooking, literature, painting including miniatures (with the magnifying glass and everything).

I also enjoy citizen science and contributing to projects that make a difference. Above all, I'm committed to growing into my highest self, learning and creating through every challenge along the way.

WEB CURATOR

In a web increasingly shaped by markets, algorithms and revenue; I choose to remain one of the independent web curators who still believes in the value of sharing. My skills are freely offered in support of a collaborative web that reinforces the power of informed spaces.

My aim is to create a thoughtful and engaging experience through art, visual storytelling and personal writing that explores the self. As a result, you'll get a glimpse into my inner thoughts. which are constantky being tried by the times we are living through.

THE WORK

By bringing these pieces together, I hope to contribute something meaningful to the wider web while celebrating the creativity, curiosity and individuality of virtual communities; which has been lost to age dominated by popular social platforms.

I hope you'll join me on this journey as the site continues to grow. In time, I plan to open the doors a little further with a behind the scenes and art process section, offering a closer look at the ideas, experiments, and creative work that shape this space.

BACKGROUND

As a young adult, I spent time coding web pages with HTML, CSS, and JS. The open frontier of owning a home computer was explored and there was an interest in learning about what it could be used to create.

I was excited about web design, digital art, and creating literature, yet went on to pursue an M.A. in mass media, while honing my hobbies on the side. When paired together, I developed a knack for visual story telling.

INTERDISCIPLINARY

I've cultivated an interdisciplinary skill set that supports my journey. I believe in the power of introspection and engagement, which allows me to connect with the projects and people I encounter.

You can gather or infer everything you need to know about me from my blog rather than me disclosing my identities; including how everyday experiences, such as going to the county fair; frame my worldview.

BREAKDOWN OF WORK

The work I've done spans several overlapping areas; shaped by both creative and organizational responsibilities. Instead of existing separately each role has informed how I approach communication, problem solving and critical thinking.

I've adapted quickly to a range of different types of work, while maintaining consistency in quality and coherence. Across web and digital platforms, I've created visual and written content through freelance work, independent sites and creative projects.

This work moves between storytelling and design, while adding clarity and direction. It has also strengthened my ability to translate ideas into experiences that resonate with a wide range of audiences. As a result, you're like to find something here that you'll enjoy.
