It’s hard not to notice that some of my blog entries feel more like an essay and yet others like narrative. This implies that many pieces like these could very well be turned into longer content form but why? If all I’m feeling is a blog entry? and not a research-driven essay, article or full blown narrative.When I think of a blog or journal entry, I still think of someone writing about their personal life and whether they had a good day or a bad day (the mini victories, the silent struggles) but what happens when so much of what’s going on with you intertwines with societal structures? You become a more thoughtful writer.
