About Me

As a young adult, I spent time coding web pages with html, css and javascript; during the golden age of the internet. The open frontier of owning a home computer was explored and there was an interest in learning about what it could be used to create. As a result, I was excited about learning web design, digital art and writing. Ironically, my career took the forefront when I pursued an M.A. in mass media. This experience honed my research skills and gave me a knack for understanding people in compelling circumstances; enriching my perspective on storytelling and communication.

Through these experiences, I've cultivated an interdisciplinary skill set that supports my ongoing journey of enterprise management. I believe in the power of introspection and engagement, which allows me to connect with the projects and people who I encounter. I encourage you to get to know me through my website and the materials presented here, rather than relying solely on my identity/ies. You can gather everything you need to know and infer a lot about me; from my journal entries. This includes how every day experiences, such as going to the county fair; frame my world view.

Philosophy

When I've hit a snag in creating, I step away from the project for a while; until a sense of balance is restored. Being a web curator should bring us a certain joy and meaningfulness in knowing that we are, in fact, contributing to the revival of the web. When we create with passion, there is a reverberation that is felt throughout the community; making it one worth belonging to.

In a world increasingly driven by markets and revenue, the web curators still exist. We volunteer our skills, offer each other support and promote the spirit of collaboration throughout our communities. We maintain websites and offer a service that promotes shared knowledge. Assests are pooled to uplift virtual societies, which we belong to; reinforcing the power of informed spaces.

Content Overview

While most areas of this site are finished, the journal remains an ongoing project; since it’s my goal to keep the lines of fruitful inquiry open. As a result, I’ll always be adding to it: as inspiration hits and as new experiences unravel. My artwork captures impressions that will encourage your imagination to soar; inviting you to consider the emotions, which each piece conveys. My zines offer a new lens through, which you can view me. The writings will inspire you to feel the weight of my thoughts, to find pieces of yourself within it and to explore in ways, which my journal may not permit. Nevertheless, I’m always evolving; which means this portfolio will continue to be a product of my inner dialogue.
